Along with cake, guests noshed on cupcakes in flavors like vanilla, coconut with almond buttercream, Guinness stout and Key lime pie.
The three-tiered cake feature a ruffled ombré design with fresh flowers tucked into the tiers.
Jars, cloches and other found items topped the tables and housed flowers and nests (to play into the day‘s theme). Votives added a little romance.
During the cocktail hour, guests played lawn games like bean bag toss (with customized bags) and croquet.
Raspberry lemonade was served during cocktail hour in take-home Mason jars.
The couple‘s guest book table was decorated with an antique tray and a vintage wildflower guide and quill.
Helen and Matt exchanged vows in the garden under a wisteria-draped pergola.
The bridesmaids wore pale-pink V-neck dresses, while the groomsmen all matched in gray pants and vests and blue ties.
The girls carried smaller versions of Helen‘s bouquet. Feverfew and pastel roses added a punch of color.
Helen‘s feminine, vintage-inspired gown with Alencon lace came with a lace bolero that she wore for the ceremony. Matt wore a gray three-piece suit and finished off his old-timey look with a boater hat.
Soft blooms like David Austin roses, peonies, dusty miller and dahlias gave the bouquet a romantic look.
The Bride Helen Straus, 31, a speech-language pathologist

The Date July 7

Helen and Matt decided on a lovebird theme for their outdoor garden wedding. They made the day unique with vintage touches and casual details to play up a summer backyard party vibe.
